FARC- Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia

The Farcs are Colombian Marxist- Leninist revolutionary guerrilla organization of Colombia since 1964.

The FARC say they represent the poor people of rural Colombia.

The operations of the FARC–EP are funded by kidnap to ransom, gold mining and the production and distribution of ilegal drugs.

Colombian military calculated that FARC forces consisted of approximately 18,000 members.

The FARC has been classified as a terrorist organization by the governments of Colombia, the United States, Canada, Chile, New Zealand, and the EU.

Nowadays

After decades of fighting, the Farc and the government think that the victory on the battlefield is impossible, and are having talks in Oslo to finish with the conflict.

The fighting won't stop during the negotiations. The government has insisted military operations against the Farc will carry on, and the Farc continues to attack while talking about peace.

 The Farc may negotiate peace,but if no one pays attention to the other people such us; peasants, indigenous groups,social movements etc. other groups will come and take their place.

Conclusion

In conclusion, we know that farcs are a terrorist group which is killing a lot of people. It´s very difficult to find a solution to this problem because each one has got a different way of thinking. Otheywise we think that FARCs should stop fighting because if that does not happen the country will finish in bad condicitions.
